Ideas

I have got a few requests for Netscape cleaning, so I'll look into that train wreck of a browser and how to clean up after it. If anybody else has any ideas (specific locations help too) of things to clean for MacDust, feel free to send them on in!

Also, if you have a very cool idea/storyline for a text-based multiplayer RPG please send them in! ( not mmorpg because it's not going to be massive on my current bandwidth limits Winking ) I'm thinking of something kind of like Kingdom Of Loathing but designed as a desktop app for Mac, and will probably be including tons of icons from the buffet!

More Shuffling!

Shuffled some files and things around and well... I've broke sparkle.

Automatic update checking will be down for the next few days, so be warned! Also files may end up missing, please let me know if you find any missing files!

Edit: Fixed! Updaters work again!

Major MacDust Makeover!

It only started out as a quest to fix the wetfloor on the welcome image, and I just was on a roll, squashed four bugs, added three new features, and even fixed some old code that could easily have broken (I'd completely forgot about this!)

What's new in MacDust 2.40
  • Free update for 2.x users.
  • Fixed Wetfloor on Welcome Logo
  • Shrunk filesize of Welcome Logo
  • New feature: Added nifty transitions for you Onyx people.
  • New feature: Toggle between new and classic transitions with the flip of a switch
  • New feature: Control the delay between the panels with the new transitions
  • Updated Registration Handling to be more stable
  • Squashed bug where if you used a newer version, the Log Window would be editable.
  • Squashed bug where MacDust would output the old price into the Log.
  • Squashed bug where two Help menus could appear.

Theme Installer Builder Update

The new version (1.15) now formats text files in the Read Me view much more... well smoothly.

So, if you're just using text Read Me's this is the best thing that you could have hoped for Happy

Server Switch

The next few days may be a little bumpy as I switch servers from my iMac to some real server. Please excuse any mishaps!

Update: Yay! The switch is complete, hopefully it's pretty seamless, you can use the new contact form under the Blog menu to send me any problems you may encounter.

Thanks!
Tim

Registration

So it appears that people are having issues sometimes receiving our registration emails. This is a rare occurrence but if you think there may be any issues with your email provider (Major ISPs and Free email services work fine) then feel free to include your phone number with the PayPal payment. If you email us a week later we can call you with the phone number you provide (or is on your website)

We do try our best but sometimes things are out of our control. Please do not jump to conclusions and make nasty posts about us if you're not receiving email from us, because we are trying!
